Early this morning, I ran/jogged 0.50 miles and walked 0.50 miles after 10 min warmup on the bike. Unfortunately, my training is going to be sidetracked due to my idiocy of working 54 hours in 3 days over this weekend. It is the price that I will pay because I did not 1) back up my Blackberry calendar before it got hosed when applications were installed and 2) say no when I should have. Have I learned from my mistakes? Well, time will tell! Hoorah!
Today's musing is two-fold. One quote comes from a Bible scripture and one poem comes from a self-love kit that I found on the internet. Please enjoy, memorize, and write on your hearts!
Psalm 139:14 says, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well".
My Vows to Me
I vow to know my truest self, deeply.
I vow to freely & fully express myself, never apologizing for or holding back from who I am.
I vow to always be completely honest with myself.
I vow to love myself for exactly who I am right now.
I vow to celebrate myself.
I vow to make my happiness a priority.
I vow to forgive myself when I'm not perfect.
I vow to see my beauty everyday.
I vow to find kindness and compassion instead of judgment and comparison for myself.
I vow to never settle for less than my heart and soul desire.
