I wrote this poem about a month ago when I was trying to wrap my mind around a horrendous situation. A person that I loved dearly had crossed one of my life's boundaries. I couldn't walk away like I would have done in my 20's. I am 44 years old and I had to deal with it. The first step in dealing with it was to forgive. People have all kinds of misconceptions about forgiveness. But I have learned that forgiveness empowers you. You don't forget that it happened but you accepted that it did happen and you are still intact in spite of. GOD is still GOD and HE is still on HIS throne. So, you move on. I did forgive this person and the first step in my forgiving was to write this poem. The poem is entitled, "No Matter What". GOD bless.

I will never leave you

I will always love you

No matter what

I will always listen

No matter what

I will capture every tear that falls

No matter what

I will repair a soul that is broken

No matter what

I will breathe life in the ashes that remain

No matter what

I AM that I AM

No matter what

I AM GOD alone
