It has been awhile since I last wrote -- October 2nd to be exact. I was reminded of a Biblical passage. My grandfather who played piano by ear couldn't played the song from Psalms to the choir director's satisfaction and I felt his sadness as well as his frustration. It was not a good choir practice that night. So many times, we want the latest, the fanciest, or what we perceived to be the best and we leave behind what was the best all the time in the first place. So, be careful what you leave behind or what you strive so hard for that you leave others behind. As the proverbial saying goes, "the grass is not greener on the other side". This week has been filled with disappointments and being left behind by others seeking greener grass on the other side. So, as the psalmist wrote and as my Papa felt, Hear my cry, O LORD. Attend unto my prayer....
My latest scriptural photo. The lady in the image is Carole Sayre portraying the unclean woman transformed by Jesus at the women's retreat, "Rags to Riches" held at Heritage Church of GOD on October 15, 2011.

Very good read and so very true :) Love the scriptual photo!
