Around this time, last year, I had to surrender my four cats because I couldn't afford the healthcare that they needed. Fleas do awful things to cats (and people too!). I entrusted Ezekiel, Nehemiah, Leah Sophia, and Gideon to the LORD's care. I know that HE is continually caring for them. This post is in honor of Ezekiel, Nehemiah, Leah Sophia, and Gideon.
On a happier note, I am reading a book by Shelly Hitz called, "21 days of gratitude challenge: finding freedom from self-pity and a negative attitude". You can find the Kindle ebook here. It is an amazing book and very appropriate for me to do at this time. I do have alot to be thankful AND grateful for. Most of all, my life. My circumstances were so bad that I prayed for the LORD to not let me wake up the next day. Fortunately, HE has other plans for me so the answer to that prayer was "No". I am so glad we have a merciful and gracious GOD. Hallelujah! I will end with a quote by Martin Luther:
"I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in GOD's hands, that I still possess."
